Apple recently announced plans to open a facility for developers in Berlin, Germany, a site intended to help European companies in creating and improving apps for Apple devices. The developer centre will be Apple’s first of its type in Europe. It runs similar facilities in Singapore, Shanghai, Cupertino and Bengaluru. KATHMANDU — A Nepali climbing guide who went missing on Mount Everest six days ago has been found crawling down to base camp in what has been described as a miraculous self-rescue after fears that he had died. According to 8K Expeditions, which was coordinating the search for the missing guide, Dawa Sherpa was found by a clearing crew on Thursday morning as he was crawling down snowy slopes around the Khumbu Icefall. Dubai Police have warned residents against dealing with unlicenced gas cylinder sellers, informing that they have seized 300 cylinders since the start of this year, 575 cylinders last year, and 1,361 cylinders in 2024. These were seized during field campaigns for not meeting safety specifications.
