RIYADH — The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has warned against abruptly stopping certain medications, saying doing so may trigger withdrawal symptoms in patients whose bodies have become accustomed to long-term treatment. The authority urged patients to consult a physician before discontinuing any prescribed medication, noting that some drugs require gradual dose reduction under medical supervision.
