RIYADH — The Ministry of Interior’s electronic platform Absher processed more than 240 million electronic transactions during the first half of 2026 through its Absher Individuals and Absher Business platforms.

Absher announced this during its participation in the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion at the LEAP 2024 Conference and Exhibition in Malham, Riyadh.

Out of the total number of 240,268,250 processed transactions, 225.3 million were carried out through the Absher Individuals platform, while the Absher Business platform recorded approximately 14.9 million transactions.

The digital document wallet service accounted for the largest share of transactions processed through Absher Individuals, with citizens, residents, and visitors viewing digital documents through the Absher application.

Regarding security sector services, the General Directorate of Public Security processed approximately 19.8 million transactions, including 19.1 million by the General Directorate of Traffic. The General Directorate of Passports recorded 13.9 million transactions, and the Ministry of Interior’s Civil Status Agency processed 2.8 million transactions during the same period.

The Absher Individuals platform saw the issuance of 631,100 reports through its Absher Reports service, in addition to processing 12,100 general fingerprint-related inquiries.

It is worthy to note that the unified digital IDs issued by the Ministry of Interior through the Absher platform enable citizens, residents, and visitors to easily and reliably access the services of the ministry’s various sectors via its electronic platforms: Absher Individuals, Absher Business, and Absher Government. They also provide access to government and private entities through the National Unified Access Portal Nafath.

Meanwhile, the Digital Government Authority honored the Ministry of Interior’s electronic “Absher” platform after it ranked first in the 2026 Digital Experience Maturity Index, achieving a score of 94.38 percent. The honor was presented during the LEAP 2026 conference and exhibition, being held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.
