RIYADH — The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources processed 853 chemical clearance requests in June 2026. Ministry spokesperson Jarrah Al Jarrah said the requests included 798 applications to clear imports of unrestricted chemical substances and 55 applications for permits to import restricted chemicals. The approved requests covered 1,653 chemical items.
