JEDDAH — Nearly two million students from the educational departments of Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah and Taif will return to schools on Sunday. The general directorates of education in these four regions have completed their preparations to welcome the students. RIYADH — Land, sea, and air customs ports across Saudi Arabia recorded 1,078 seizures of contraband last week. The seized items included 107 types of narcotics such as hashish, cocaine, heroin, crystal meth, and Captagon pills, in addition to 402 other prohibited materials. Customs ports also foiled attempts to smuggle 2,024 tobacco products and their derivatives, along with 30 types of cash and two types of weapons and related equipment. The seizures were part of the ongoing efforts of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) to strengthen security and protect society from all types and forms of prohibited substances.…
