ADEN — Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad Al-Alimi announced Monday the resumption of the country’s oil exports, ending a suspension that has been in place since 2022 amid the conflict with the Houthi militia. UAE’s Ministry of Education released the results of the 2025-2026 end-of-year resit exams at 2pm on Monday, July 20, for students in public schools and private schools following the ministry’s curriculum. SHARJAH, 20th July, 2026 (WAM) — One year after the Faya Palaeolandscape was inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, Sharjah has expanded research, conservation and site management initiatives to support the long-term protection of the property. Over the past 12 months, the emirate has established a dedicated World Heritage Office to oversee the site’s long-term management and launched the Sharjah Government’s AED2 million Faya Research Grant Programme, which attracted proposals from universities across four continents. JEDDAH — Jeddah Municipality seized 3,699 counterfeit clothing items bearing fake sports club logos and commercial trademarks during two inspection campaigns in the south and central parts of the city. Yasser Bakhsh, director general of monitoring and addressing negative phenomena, said all counterfeit clothing was confiscated and destroyed, while 19 machines and pieces of equipment used for sewing, embroidery, printing and cutting were seized.
