RIYADH — The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development emphasized that failing to notify job applicants of the results of their interviews constitutes a violation of regulations and bylaws.
The ministry urged affected individuals to notify the ministry about the non-compliant establishments through its official application. Human resources regulations require employers to notify applicants of the outcome of the interview—whether accepted or rejected—within 30 days of the job interview.
Failure by an establishment to provide such notification, or any violation of the regulations governing job postings and interviews, constitutes a clear breach of the applicable regulations and warrants an official complaint by the affected party.
The ministry is working to develop a comprehensive system of regulations and decisions aimed at improving the labor market. Regulations governing the advertising of job vacancies and the conduct of job interviews have been adopted to enhance the quality of services provided to job seekers by standardizing and regulating procedures for advertising vacancies and conducting interviews in the private sector.
