RIYADH — The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has begun issuing specialized climate maps for rainfall distribution, as part of efforts to advance monitoring and climate analysis tools and strengthen the early warning system. As part of this initiative, the center released a climate map for April rainfall distribution covering the historical period from 1998 to 2025, based on analyzed satellite data. WASHINGTON — A US fighter jet has been shot down by Iran, Axios reported Friday, citing Iranian media and a source familiar with the incident. If confirmed, it would mark the first time since the start of the war that a US aircraft has been downed by enemy fire. Iranian state media earlier released photos and videos allegedly showing debris from the crash site, including what appeared to be parts of the aircraft and an ejection seat.
