Brigadier Jumaa Salem bin Suwaidan, Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, said: “These actions reflect a clear disregard for traffic laws and road safety”.

He emphasised that such practices are among the leading causes of serious traffic accidents, as they can result in sudden loss of vehicle control and increase the likelihood of chain collisions, potentially leading to severe injuries or fatalities.

Dubai Police will take strict legal action against offenders, and will continue to intensify both on-ground and smart monitoring efforts to address dangerous driving behaviours, he added.
