PARIS — Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Kamel, chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, said Saudi-French relations have entered a new phase of growth and development, supported by the leaderships of both countries and their shared vision to strengthen economic and investment cooperation.

Speaking at the annual meeting of the Saudi-French Business Council in Paris, Kamel said the partnership has expanded beyond traditional trade ties to include investment, innovation, energy, culture, tourism and advanced technologies.

He said this reflects the depth of bilateral relations and the broad range of opportunities available for cooperation between the two countries.

Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Kamel, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, addressing the annual meeting of the Saudi-French Business Council in Paris.

Kamel highlighted the role of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 in strengthening the Kingdom’s position as one of the world’s most ambitious economic transformation programs.

He said the vision is helping build a diversified economy integrated with global markets, while creating an attractive environment for international partnerships and increasing private-sector participation in economic development.

Kamel noted that the Federation of Saudi Chambers, as the official representative of the Saudi business community, continues to work to deepen economic ties with France and support initiatives that transform opportunities into sustainable projects and long-term partnerships.

He said the Saudi-French Business Council has played a key role in strengthening cooperation between the private sectors of both countries over the past years.

Kamel stressed the importance of the next phase in expanding trade, facilitating communication between businesses, and developing joint projects that support economic growth and prosperity.

He noted that rapid changes in the global economy have made partnerships based on trust and shared interests a strategic necessity.

According to Kamel, infrastructure, renewable energy, digital transformation, innovation, creative industries, tourism and space technologies are among the most promising sectors for future Saudi-French cooperation.

He also expressed his anticipation of welcoming the world to Expo Riyadh 2030 and praised France’s participation in the global event.
