    Saudi FM meets with Qatari, Oman counterparts to discuss implications of US-Iran deal

    MANAMA — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan held separate meetings with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi in Manama on Thursday.

    The meetings were held on the sidelines of the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the United States of America.

    During the meeting, Prince Faisal and Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani reviewed the latest developments regarding the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and Iran, and its implications for the region’s security and stability.

    The ministers also reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. They discussed the latest regional developments, and efforts to enhance security and stability in the region.

    During their meeting, Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Badr Al Busaidi reviewed the fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in a manner that serves their mutual interests and enhances the joint Gulf action.

    The ministers also discussed regional developments, foremost among them the US-Iran agreement, and ways to support diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and enhance security and stability in the region.
