RIYADH — Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman welcomed the agreement reached between the United States and Iran to end military operations during a phone call on Friday with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

At the outset of the call, Sharif expressed his appreciation to the Crown Prince for the Kingdom’s efforts in supporting the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran.

The Crown Prince welcomed the agreement, noting that it was achieved through mediation efforts undertaken by Pakistan.

He also expressed the Kingdom’s hope that the agreement would lead to a permanent settlement that enhances security and stability in the region.

The two leaders also reviewed the close relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
