MAKKAH — A smart robot with religious services and multilingual translations has been employed by the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque to enrich the experience of pilgrims to the Two Holy Mosques.

The smart robot provides interactive religious and guidance content through an easy-to-use interface, including services that introduce locations and facilities within the Two Holy Mosques, answer a range of religious inquiries, and offer instant translation services, making it accessible to visitors from various nationalities and cultures.

The use of these technologies extends the Presidency’s efforts to leverage artificial intelligence to develop religious and awareness services and support the Two Holy Mosques’ digital transformations.

These technological initiatives reflect the Kingdom’sdirection towards using artificial intelligence to help deliver the religious message through modern methods that meet the needs of visitors from around the world.

The Presidency continues to employ smart technologies and modern interactive systems to enhance the quality of services provided to visitors of the Two Holy Mosques through the operation of a multi-service smart robot.
