QBS Technology, formerly emt, concluded its participation at GISEC Global 2026, held from 16–18 September at Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), Expo City Dubai), bringing together cybersecurity leaders, technology vendors, partners and customers from across the region.

Over three days, the QBS Technology stand hosted conversations around cybersecurity, technology adoption, channel partnerships and emerging security challenges. The event provided an opportunity for QBS Technology to connect its regional expertise and partner network with a growing portfolio of global cybersecurity technologies.

The QBS Technology ecosystem at GISEC featured Vanta, xorlab, Threatcop, Portnox, SpecterOps, Fortra, ARCON, Cyble and BlackfishID, showcasing solutions across governance and compliance, email security, human risk, network access, identity security, data protection, threat intelligence and cybersecurity operations.

Vanta showcased capabilities for GRC, security compliance, risk management and trust, helping organisations build and manage their security programmes.

xorlab highlighted its AI-powered approach to email security, helping organisations detect and prevent sophisticated threats delivered through email.

Threatcop focused on human risk and security awareness, helping organisations address people-related cybersecurity risks and strengthen employee security behaviour.

Portnox solution was around Zero Trust Network Access and network access control capabilities, helping organisations secure users, devices and network connectivity.

SpecterOps identity security capabilities focuses on identifying and addressing attack paths across Active Directory environments.

Fortra brought its broad cybersecurity portfolio spanning data protection, managed file transfer, email security, vulnerability management and infrastructure security.

ARCON highlighted its identity security and privileged access management capabilities, addressing access governance across human, machine and emerging AI-driven environments.

Cyble showcased its threat intelligence and digital risk capabilities, providing organisations with greater visibility into emerging threats, exposed assets and the broader digital risk landscape.

BlackfishID brought its cybersecurity capabilities to the QBS Technology stand, giving visitors an opportunity to explore its approach to protecting organisations against evolving cyber threats.

    Expanding the partner ecosystem

A key outcome of QBS Technology’s participation at GISEC Global 2026 was the formalisation of five technology partnerships through signing ceremonies held during the event.

QBS Technology recently signed partnerships with Cyble, Threatcop, Motadata, xorlab and Array Networks, further expanding its technology portfolio and strengthening its ability to support partners and customers across the region.

The signings reflect QBS Technology’s continued focus on bringing specialised global technologies to its regional partner ecosystem, while creating new opportunities for collaboration, solution development and market growth.

The partnerships also expand QBS Technology’s capabilities across several areas of the technology landscape, including threat intelligence, human risk management, email security, IT and network management, and application delivery and network infrastructure.

Beyond its vendor portfolio, QBS Technology also leveraged GISEC to highlight its broader capabilities and initiatives.

The Cyber Escape Room service demonstrated an interactive approach to security awareness, using immersive, challenge-based scenarios to help organisations engage employees and strengthen cybersecurity behaviours.

The company’s Professional Services capabilities were also highlighted, demonstrating how technical expertise, implementation support and solution integration can help partners and customers successfully deploy and optimise cybersecurity technologies.

QBS Technology also showcased its digital initiatives, including the emt Marketplace and SecureG Cybersecurity Kiosk, while highlighting its upcoming AWS Marketplace offering, as a DSOR, and the opportunities it is expected to create for vendors, partners and customers across the region.

Speaking about the event, Mo Mobasseri, CEO METACA at QBS Technology, said: “GISEC was an important opportunity for us to bring our vendors, partners, customers and team together under one roof. The conversations throughout the event gave us valuable insight into the cybersecurity priorities of organisations across the region, while creating opportunities for new partnerships and continued collaboration. Signing partnerships with Cyble, Threatcop, Motadata, xorlab and Array Networks during the event was an important step in expanding the solutions we can bring to our partners and customers across the region”.

The event also marked an important milestone in the evolution of QBS Technology. emt is now QBS Technology, combining its established regional expertise and relationships with the broader capabilities and reach of the QBS Technology Group.

Through GISEC Global 2026, QBS Technology strengthened relationships with existing customers and partners, connected with new organisations and technology leaders, and continued to expand its cybersecurity ecosystem across the region.

“We are taking the conversations and connections from GISEC forward as we continue to expand our portfolio, strengthen our partner ecosystem and bring more cybersecurity and technology capabilities to the markets we serve”, added Mo Mobasseri.
