MINA — Pilgrims have completed their arrival at Mina to spend the Day of Tarwiyah on Monday, amid a spiritual atmosphere, in preparation for next day’s standing at Arafat, the climax of the annual pilgrimage of Hajj.

The entrances to Mina witnessed a high level of crowd-flow efficiency, with field monitoring by various security, health, and service sectors, which mobilized their capabilities to receive pilgrims and provide them with the necessary care from the moment they arrived at the designated camps.

The Day of Tarwiyah is considered a key stage in the Hajj rituals, during which pilgrims head to Mina to spend the day and night there in keeping with the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), before proceeding at dawn on the ninth of Dhul Hijjah, Tuesday, to the plains of Arafat to perform standing at Arafat, the greatest pillar of Hajj.

Earlier the day on Monday, pilgrims arrived and settled in Mina to observe the Day of Tarwiyah. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, through its field teams and operational centers, monitored pilgrims’ arrival at the Mina camps and the quality of services provided—including accommodation, food, guidance, and support services—in coordination with all entities within the Hajj ecosystem.

The Nusuk Care centers, affiliated with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, continued supporting pilgrims in Makkah and the holy sites through 38 centers and more than 160 service locations. Field teams, speaking more than 11 languages, have delivered over 180,000 services to date, including guidance, assistance, interpretation support, report handling, and humanitarian assistance at pilgrims’ locations.

Thousands of pilgrims performed their obligatory prayers at Al-Khayf Mosque in Mina, in a spiritual atmosphere filled with serenity and tranquility, supported by integrated services offered by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.
