    National Security Operations Center receives over 2.7 million calls in August

    RIYADH — The National Center for Security Operations received 2,790,646 calls via the unified emergency number 911 across the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province during August 2026.

    This falls within the mandate of the Unified Security Operations Centers (911), which receive calls and route them to the relevant security and service agencies according to their respective jurisdictions. The centers operate around the clock using advanced automated systems managed by specialized, multilingual staff.

    The calls received were distributed across the four regions as follows: 857,390 in Makkah region, 248,677 in Madinah region, 1,155,495 in Riyadh region, and 529,084 in Eastern Province, bringing the total number of calls received across the regions to 2,790,646.
