Dubai: Gold at your doorstep? A home delivery service is ensuring that

Buying gold in Dubai is no longer limited to showroom visits. A new service launched by Dubai Gold District is bringing the experience directly to customers’ homes, offering private consultations and secure doorstep delivery for jewellery and investment pieces.

The initiative, introduced with participating retailers including Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Kanz, and Kalyan Jewellers, allows customers to browse and purchase gold through personalised consultations. Once a selection is made, items are delivered securely to their doorstep, adding a layer of convenience and privacy to what is often a high-value purchase.

The move comes at a time when interest in gold continues to grow across the UAE, with many buyers viewing it as both a meaningful gift and a reliable store of value. By extending services beyond physical stores, retailers are responding to changing shopping habits while maintaining the trust and transparency that define Dubai’s gold market.

“With this service, we are extending the Dubai Gold District experience beyond the store, allowing customers to purchase gold from the comfort and privacy of their homes, while maintaining the transparency and service the market is known for,” said Muath AlRais, Senior Operations Manager at Dubai Gold District.

Retailers say the service is being driven by growing demand for convenience and discretion, particularly for high-value purchases.

Malabar Gold & Diamonds noted that more customers are looking to buy gold with greater privacy, especially when selecting investment pieces or fine jewellery. The brand added that private consultations and secure home delivery allow them to guide customers through their choices while offering the same trusted experience they would receive in-store.

Kalyan Jewellers shared a similar sentiment, highlighting that customers in Dubai continue to value the market’s transparency and competitive pricing. The company said personalised consultations and secure delivery make it easier for shoppers to purchase gold while still benefiting from expert guidance and trust.

At the same time, traditional retail remains unchanged. The Dubai Gold District and Gold Souk continue to operate as usual, with the new service acting as an added option rather than a replacement.

More retailers are expected to join the initiative in the coming months, as the district continues to position itself at the intersection of heritage and modern retail.
