XICHANG, China, 17th June, 2026 (WAM) — China on Tuesday successfully launched a Long March-3B carrier rocket, blasting a new satellite named Shijian-31 into space.
The rocket lifted off at 5:45 pm (Beijing Time) from the Xichang Satellite Launch Centre in southwest China’s Sichuan Province. The satellite will be primarily utilised for space environment monitoring.
This mission marks the 651st flight of the Long March carrier rocket series.
