RIYADH — The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has foiled an attempt to smuggle 154,108 amphetamine pills, commonly known as Captagon, through the Al Haditha Border Crossing. ZATCA official spokesperson Hammoud Al-Harbi said the pills were discovered hidden inside a shipment of tents arriving in the Kingdom through the border crossing. He said the seizure was made after the shipment underwent customs procedures and inspection using security technologies and K9 detection methods. They shared a video compiling footage of road violations, which also included cars using the road shoulder to overtake other vehicles.
