LONDON —Two people have been stabbed in a Jewish neighborhood of north London, according to a local Jewish security group. A man has been arrested by British police after the attack in Golders Green, an area in known for its large Jewish population. Flights between India and the UAE are gradually returning to normal, but airfares remain high, with many residents still paying more than usual for travel. SEOUL, 30th April, 2026 (WAM) — Samsung Electronics Co. said Thursday its first-quarter net profit surged more than fivefold from a year earlier, driven by robust demand for high-end memory chips used in artificial intelligence (AI) applications. Bangladesh has confirmed 30 deaths in a measles outbreak that has spread rapidly across the country, with most of the victims aged under two, the World Health Organisation said on Thursday. In what it described as a reversal of progress towards measles elimination in Bangladesh, the WHO said there had also been another 166 suspected deaths from the disease since mid-March. Health experts said it was the highest death toll from measles in decades.
