The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has ordered the administrative closure of Mohammad Delwar Hossain restaurant after identifying serious food safety violations that pose a risk to public health. The eatery, located in Mussafah’s M17 area and operating under commercial licence number (CN 4216320), was found to be in breach of Law No. (2) of 2008 on food safety in the emirate. The UAE has officially concluded its investigation into a Sudanese arms smuggling network and referred the case to the Supreme Court for a final ruling. The probe, which was first announced in April 2025, has resulted in charges against 13 suspects and 6 front companies involved in the illegal trafficking of military equipment. Of the 13 suspects, some have been arrested inside the UAE and are facing proceedings before the court, while others remain outside the country. ABU DHABI, 30th April, 2026 (WAM) — Counsellor Dr Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, Attorney-General of the UAE, has ordered the referral of 13 defendants and six UAE-registered companies to the Abu Dhabi Federal Court of Appeal (State Security Court), on charges of illicit trafficking in military materiel, forgery, and money laundering.
