MAKKAH — The Ministry of Interior took punitive measures against 14 Saudi citizens and five expatriates for violating Hajj laws and regulations. They were arrested at the entry points to Makkah while attempting to transport 29 individuals, who did not obtain permits to perform Hajj. The ministry issued administrative decisions against the violators through the seasonal administrative committees. RIYADH — Hajj security forces arrested two Saudi citizens for transporting four Egyptians and one Pakistani resident, in violation of Hajj regulations and instructions. The citizens were caught while attempting to transport the residents into Makkah without obtaining Hajj permits. Legal procedures were taken against the arrested people. Public Security urged everyone to comply with Hajj regulations and instructions and to promptly report violators by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in all other regions of the Kingdom.
