BEIRUT — A senior Lebanese army officer and his driver were killed on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a military vehicle in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese army and state media. The Lebanese army said the strike occurred on the Khardali-Nabatieh road but did not specify the total number of military personnel killed. RIYADH — Saudi security forces arrested a total of 7,760 illegal residents in a week. RIYADH — Land, sea, and air Customs ports across Saudi Arabia recorded 686 seizures of contraband last week.
