MAKKAH — Hajj security forces arrested five Malaysian residents for violating Hajj regulations by attempting to enter Makkah through unpaved roads and valleys without a Hajj permit. RIYADH — The Ministry of Interior has penalized four expatriates and three Saudi citizens for violating Hajj regulations by transporting 13 pilgrims to Makkah without Hajj permits. The ministry announced that Hajj security forces apprehended them at the entrances to Makkah. The ministry issued administrative decisions regarding penalties through its seasonal administrative committees. Cebu Pacific (CEB) will resume its Manila-Dubai operations on July 2, following “safety assessments and coordination with Dubai airport authorities,” the Philippine budget airline announced on Tuesday.
