    Asir sees 65.6mm of rain as NCM monitors Kingdom-wide activity

    RIYADH — The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) monitored rainfall activity across parts of the Kingdom for 24 hours, with the Asir and Riyadh regions recording the highest precipitation levels with a combined total of 107.8mm of rain.

    The recorded rainfall occurred from 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, to 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2026, with multiple monitoring stations registering measurable rainfall.

    The Asir region recorded the highest precipitation, with Abhia Airport station recording 65.6mm.

    Following Asir, which recorded the second-highest rainfall, the King Khalid Reserve in Riyadh reported 42.2mm of rainfall.

    Al-Qadisiyah District of Dammam in the Eastern Province saw 20.6mm of precipitation, while Al-Darb in Jazan saw 11.2mm and 1.8mm for Najran in Khabash.

    The following regions registered less than 1mm of rainfall: Al-Baha in Al-Baher recorded 0.8mm, and both Rabigh in Makkah and Al-Nabhaniyah in Qassim recorded 0.2mm each.

    The NCM had previously issued multiple weather alerts across the Kingdom, warning of varying conditions, from light to heavy rainfall.
