RIYADH — Bader AlReziza has been elected president of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) for the 2026–2030 term. The Extraordinary General Assembly of SAFF held in Riyadh on Sunday elected him as president by acclamation.

AlReziza succeeds Yasser Al-Misehal, who served as SAFF president from 2019 to 2026. AlReziza previously served as the chairman of Al-Qadsiah Club.

The general assembly announced the endorsement of Al-Reziza’s list for the presidency of the federation’s Board of Directors for the next four years. The decision followed the cancellation of the vote and the adoption of the list by acclamation, after the sole list fulfilled all electoral requirements.

The final list includes Loay Mashabi as vice president of the board, and seven candidates for members of the board of directors. They are Lamia Bahaian, Fahad Al-Mansour, Salman Al-Sudairi, Thamer Al-Sadoun, Omar Al-Jeraisy, Nicholas Coward, and Gerrard Roddy.

The SAFF Board of Directors Election Committee, during its sixth session, announced last Wednesday the final list of candidates for the presidency and membership of the Board of Directors, following the completion of the appeals and grievances process and the expiration of the deadline for candidate withdrawals.

The announcement of the final list of candidates was made in accordance with the election timetable previously announced on July 16, thereby concluding the electoral process through the acclamation of the sole list without the need for a vote.
