FileCloud, a leading enterprise file sharing and data governance platform, is expanding its presence and capabilities from its regional headquarters in Riyadh, building on nearly a decade of serving organizations across Saudi Arabia.

FileCloud has supported customers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) since 2016 and established its Riyadh regional headquarters in 2025 as the center of its Middle East and North Africa operations. Today, FileCloud works with ministries and enterprises across various sectors, including energy, finance, public works, and education, supported by a strong ecosystem of regional partners.

As organizations across the Kingdom continue to advance digital transformation initiatives, FileCloud is expanding its capabilities around the security, sovereignty, and collaboration requirements of Saudi customers — including a native integration with Saudi-built e-signature platform Signit, new AI-powered collaboration capabilities, and plans for locally hosted cloud services.

    Regional Sovereign E-Signature Integration

FileCloud’s native integration with Signit brings Saudi-based electronic signature capabilities directly into FileCloud workflows. Users can prepare and send documents for Signit eSignature from FileCloud, creating a streamlined experience for securely managing documents from collaboration through signature.

The integration builds on FileCloud’s existing support for organizations in Saudi Arabia, including flexible on-premises and hybrid deployments for data residency and sovereignty requirements and a specialized PDPL configuration within FileCloud’s Compliance Center.

FileCloud also supports region specific capabilities, such as Arabic-language interface options and Hijri calendar.

Looking Ahead: AI-Powered Collaboration and Saudi-Hosted Cloud Services

FileCloud continues to invest in capabilities designed around the evolving needs of organizations in the Kingdom.

Upcoming AI-powered collaboration features will help users search, analyze, and extract information from content stored within FileCloud while keeping enterprise data within the organization’s controlled environment. Signups for early access start in September 2026.

FileCloud is also launching local cloud SaaS offering hosted in Saudi Arabia, starting Q4 2026, providing organizations with another deployment option for meeting local data residency and sovereignty requirements.

    Meet FileCloud at LEAP 2026

FileCloud’s in-region experts will be at LEAP 2026, August 31–September 3, showcasing its latest advances in secure collaboration, data sovereignty, e-signature, and data governance.

Attendees can meet directly with the FileCloud team to discuss their own security and collaboration priorities, explore the Signit integration, and see FileCloud in action through personalized demonstrations.
