MOSCOW, 21st August, 2026 (WAM) –The benchmark MOEX Russia Index closed higher today, gaining 12.81 points, or 0.60%, from the previous trading session to settle at 2,134.34 points.
Meanwhile, the dollar-denominated RTS Index rose by 0.60%, or 4.84 points, to close at 806.63 points.
The MOEX Russia Index tracks the performance of the largest and most liquid Russian companies listed on the Moscow Exchange, while the RTS Index measures the same equities in US dollar terms.
