Rajesh Soman, Group CFO, MHD Automotive; Amol Dilip Pande, CFO, MHD Automotive; Mohammed Shahjahan, Head of Information Technology (ISD); and Jayan Vijayasankar, General Manager, Sales from IntelliSoft.

Muscat — Mohsin Haider Darwish L.L.C (MHD Automotive), one of Oman’s leading automotive distributors, has announced the adoption of autoX on SAP Cloud ERP Private as part of its ongoing digital transformation strategy. The implementation will be delivered by IntelliSoft.

The initiative is aimed at modernising and integrating MHD Automotive’s operations across its extensive portfolio of global automotive brands. The company represents a wide range of passenger and commercial vehicle manufacturers, including Jaguar Land Rover, MG Motor, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Dodge, Jetour, Ineos Automotive, Chrysler, and Hongqi, as well as commercial vehicle brands such as Ashok Leyland and Ford Trucks.

A seasoned SAP customer, MHD has been leveraging SAP solutions across its non-automotive businesses for many years. As part of its automotive transformation journey, the company evaluated multiple dealer management systems with deep automotive functionality before selecting autoX. The decision was driven by autoX’s unique positioning as a comprehensive automotive DMS fully integrated within the SAP ecosystem, enabling MHD Automotive to extend its digital core across both automotive and non-automotive operations. OEM acceptance also played a critical role in the evaluation process, with the represented automotive brands providing the green signal for the solution.

Managing such a diverse ecosystem presents operational complexities, particularly in areas such as inventory management, service operations, financial consolidation, and customer engagement. The adoption of cloud-based ERP solutions is becoming increasingly critical in the automotive sector, as organisations look to standardise processes, enhance agility, and respond quickly to changing market dynamics. For multi-brand distributors like MHD Automotive, the ability to harmonise operations while maintaining flexibility across different brand requirements is particularly important. The deployment of autoX is expected to address these challenges by creating a unified digital backbone for the organisation.

Built on SAP S/4HANA, autoX provides industry-specific functionality tailored to automotive distributors. By implementing the solution on SAP Cloud ERP Private, MHD Automotive will integrate key business functions- including vehicle sales, aftersales service, spare parts management, warranty processes, and financial systems- into a single, scalable environment. The platform leverages embedded AI and intelligent automation to streamline processes across the entire vehicle lifecycle. From lead management and sales execution to aftersales service and customer retention, autoX enables improved visibility, efficiency, and responsiveness across business operations.

The contract signing brought together key stakeholders from MHD Automotive and IntelliSoft, marking the start of a strategic transformation initiative designed to deliver long-term operational and customer experience improvements.

By adopting SAP Cloud ERP Private and autoX, MHD Automotive is reinforcing its position as a leading automotive enterprise in the region, focused on driving efficiency, governance, and scalability across its multi-brand operations.
