    Hosam Eddin Hashish.

Founder and Managing Director Hosam Eddin Hashish discusses how IT Finder is connecting businesses with trusted technology providers through intelligent RFQ management, verified vendor networks, and an AI-powered vision for the future of technology sourcing.

Finding the right technology partner remains one of the biggest challenges facing businesses today. With thousands of IT service providers operating across the UAE, organisations often struggle to identify qualified, trustworthy vendors capable of delivering the right solutions for their digital transformation needs.

Recognising this gap, entrepreneur and technology consultant Hosam Eddin Hashish launched IT Finder, a Dubai-based platform designed to simplify how businesses and consumers discover, evaluate, and engage with technology service providers.

Positioned as the UAE’s first dedicated technology marketplace and ecosystem, IT Finder goes beyond traditional business directories by combining intelligent RFQ management, provider verification, booking, and workforce management tools, and future AI-powered capabilities into a single platform.

Hosam Eddin Hashish, Founder and Managing Director of IT Finder, discusses with Tahawultech.com the market opportunity that inspired the venture, how the platform is transforming technology procurement, the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing customer experiences, and his vision for building the Middle East’s leading technology marketplace.

    Interview Excerpts:

What market gap did you identify that led to the creation of IT Finder as the UAE’s first dedicated technology marketplace?
Throughout my career as a network engineer and technology consultant, I have consistently observed businesses struggling to identify reliable and qualified IT service providers. Most organisations rely on personal referrals, online searches, or generic business directories, which often lack transparency and make it difficult to evaluate service providers effectively. At the same time, IT companies face challenges in reaching qualified customers and generating relevant business opportunities. IT Finder was created to bridge this gap by connecting businesses seeking technology solutions with verified IT providers through a dedicated technology marketplace.

“IT Finder is designed as a complete digital ecosystem built exclusively for the IT industry.”

How does IT Finder’s intelligent RFQ system simplify technology procurement and vendor selection for businesses across the UAE?
Traditional procurement processes often require businesses to spend significant time contacting multiple vendors, collecting quotations, and comparing proposals manually. This can be both time-consuming and inefficient. IT Finder simplifies the process by allowing customers to submit a single request for quotation (RFQ) through the platform. The system then intelligently matches the request with relevant IT providers based on their expertise, service offerings, geographical coverage, and performance history. Customers receive multiple relevant quotations, making it easier to compare options and make informed technology purchasing decisions. This is particularly valuable for procurement teams that may not possess deep technical expertise and need a reliable way to identify suitable vendors.

What are the biggest challenges organisations face when identifying trusted IT partners, and how does IT Finder address them?
One of the biggest challenges is trust. Unlike physical products, technology services cannot be tested before purchase. Businesses often struggle to determine whether a provider truly possesses the expertise and experience they claim. IT Finder addresses this challenge by onboarding only verified and qualified IT companies. We carefully assess company credentials, certifications, project experience, and performance history before listing them on the platform. Customers can review verified company profiles, certifications, and relevant project information, enabling greater transparency and confidence during the selection process.

“Our goal is to simplify decision-making while helping organisations identify trustworthy technology partners.”

How does IT Finder’s subscription-based, zero-commission model create value for IT service providers?
IT Finder operates on a subscription model rather than charging commissions on transactions. Businesses and consumers can use the platform free of charge, while IT service providers subscribe to access marketplace tools, lead-generation opportunities, and enhanced visibility. Subscription pricing is determined based on factors such as company profile, service specialisations, operational scale, and geographical coverage. Importantly, we do not take a percentage of any deals generated through the platform. Service providers retain full ownership of their customer relationships and revenues. This model offers predictability for IT companies while allowing them to focus on growing their businesses without worrying about transaction fees.

How will AI-powered matching, intelligent recommendations, and provider analytics enhance the customer experience in the future?
Artificial intelligence will play a major role in the future evolution of IT Finder. Our vision is to use AI to automate and improve the technology procurement process. For example, AI-powered recommendation engines will help customers identify the most suitable solutions based on their specific requirements. The platform will also intelligently match customer requests with relevant providers and assist in preparing and evaluating quotations.

“The platform will deliver actionable recommendations, helping businesses make faster and more informed technology decisions.”

What is your long-term vision for IT Finder as it expands across the GCC?
Our long-term vision is to establish IT Finder as the leading technology marketplace and ecosystem across the Middle East. While our current focus is on building a strong foundation in the UAE, we see significant opportunities across the GCC, driven by growing investments in digital transformation, cybersecurity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, automation, and smart technologies. Beyond connecting customers with service providers, we are building a comprehensive ecosystem that will include technology suppliers, distributors, IT professionals, engineers, and future talent marketplaces. Ultimately, we want IT Finder to become the first destination for anyone seeking technology services, IT talent, technology products, or business growth opportunities within the technology sector.

Is IT Finder currently self-funded or backed by investors?
IT Finder is currently a self-funded venture. We have focused on building and launching the platform independently while executing our long-term growth strategy and roadmap.
