RIYADH — The Sports Boulevard Foundation has appointed OVG Middle East as the operating partner for the Global Sports Tower, marking a strategic step toward delivering one of Riyadh’s most ambitious sports and lifestyle destinations.

In a statement issued Monday, the foundation said the partnership aims to ensure operational excellence and long-term commercial sustainability for the tower, which is set to become the world’s tallest sports tower.

The Global Sports Tower is designed to combine sport, wellness and community experiences within a single vertical destination, reflecting the broader vision of the Sports Boulevard Foundation to integrate active living into everyday life across the Saudi capital.

According to the statement, OVG Middle East has been involved since the early planning stages of the project, working alongside the foundation on the operational model, commercial strategy and integration of retail and dining facilities.

The collaboration is intended to align design, infrastructure and operations from the outset to create a destination focused on efficiency, resilience and long-term success.

Chief Executive Officer of the Sports Boulevard Foundation Jayne McGivern said the Global Sports Tower represents a major milestone for the Sports Boulevard project and reflects Riyadh’s transformation into a more connected and active city.

“As the world’s tallest sports tower, it will set new standards for how sport, wellness, and community are experienced, delivered in the most sustainable way,” McGivern said.

She added that the partnership with OVG Middle East would help ensure the project achieves operational excellence from day one.

Executive Vice President of OVG Middle East Iain Campbell said the tower would become a landmark addition to Saudi Arabia’s sports and lifestyle landscape.

“From the outset, our focus has been on ensuring that every aspect of the development is grounded in operational excellence, aligning design, commercial strategy, and guest experience to deliver a truly world-class destination,” Campbell said.

He added that OVG Middle East aims to support the Sports Boulevard Foundation in creating a venue that not only meets international standards but sets new benchmarks for the region.
