RIYADH — The Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute on Monday unveiled the first wave of headline speakers and the strategic agenda for FII PRIORITY Europe 2026, taking place from June 17 to 19 in Rome.

Under the theme “Europe Reimagined: Capital, Sovereignty & Strategic Autonomy”, the summit will convene global investors, policymakers, innovators, and business leaders to examine how capital can strengthen Europe’s long-term competitiveness across energy, technology, security, finance, and industrial transformation.

Chairman of the Executive Committee and Acting CEO of FII Institute Richard Attias said that Europe is entering a decisive period where competitiveness, resilience, and strategic autonomy will increasingly depend on how effectively capital is mobilized across industries, technologies, and infrastructure. “FII PRIORITY Europe is designed to bring together global leaders and investors to examine not only Europe’s challenges, but also the significant opportunities emerging across energy, AI, manufacturing, finance, and sustainable growth,” he said.

Among the leading discussions on the agenda are: “Europe at the Inflection Point,” “Tariffs, Trade, and the New Geoeconomic Order,” and “Sovereign AI: Can Europe Build Its Own Intelligence Infrastructure?”

The summit will convene a confirmed group of global leaders and decision-makers, including: Saudi Ambassador to the United States and Member of the Board of Trustees at the FII Institute Princess Reema bint Bandar; Governor of the Public Investment Fund, Chairman of Saudi Aramco, and Chairman of the FII Institute Yasir Al-Rumayyan; Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb; Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan; Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama; Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso; Senator of the Italian Republic and Former Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Renzi; President and CEO of the Four Seasons Alejandro Reynal; Co-Chairperson and CEO at Sigma Lithium Ana Cabral; SVP and Chair of IBM Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific Ana Paula Assis; Executive Chairman of Global Private Bank and Global Chair of Investment Banking at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Andrew L. Cohen; CEO of UniCredit Andrea Orcel; Global Co-Head of Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs and Co-CEO of Goldman Sachs International Anthony Gutman; Co-Chair of UN AI Advisory Body Carme Artigas; CEO and Managing Director at PIMCO Emmanuel Roman; Vice President of European Investment Bank Ioannis Tsakiris; U.S. Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs at the White House Jacob Helberg; Chair and CEO of LanzaTech Dr. Jennifer Holmgren; Vice President for Policy and Partnerships of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Mark Bowman; Founder and Chairman of Technogym Nerio Alessandri; CEO of Agility Robotics Peggy Johnson; Co-Founder and CEO of Liquid AI Ramin Hasani; Chief Financial Officer of Nasdaq Sarah Youngwood; Chair of Julius Baer Group Sir Noel Quinn; Founder and CEO of newcleo Stefano Buono; and Executive Vice President of BYD Stella Li.

Together, these speakers reflect the summit’s focus on Europe’s next growth chapter: mobilizing capital, strengthening strategic industries, securing digital and energy infrastructure, and connecting Europe’s public and private sectors with global markets.
