Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki thanked King Salman for his patronage of the event and the Crown Prince for gracing the final match and crowning the winning team. He also congratulated the Al-Hilal team. “I thank Al-Hilal and Al-Kholood teams for the great technical and professional efficiency they presented, and the wonderful competitive spirit that appeared in this final match, which embodies the true value and distinguished reputation that Saudi football has attained,” he said.
