    Saudi Crown Prince, Syrian President discuss regional developments in Jeddah

    JEDDAH — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held talks with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa in Jeddah on Tuesday.

    During the meeting, the leaders reviewed aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries and opportunities to support and develop them in various fields. They also discussed the latest developments in the region and coordinated efforts regarding them.

    The meeting was attended by Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman; Deputy Emir of Makkah Prince Saud bin Mishaal; Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan; Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban; Advisor at the Royal Court Khalid Hadrawi; and Saudi Ambassador to Syria Faisal Al-Mujfel.

    From the Syrian side, the meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani; Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy in Riyadh Mohsen Mahbash; and a number of officials.
