    Saudi Crown Prince, Al-Burhan discuss safeguarding Sudan’s security and sovereignty

    JEDDAH — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held talks with Chairman of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereign Council Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan in Jeddah on Monday.

    During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments in Sudan, their repercussions, and the efforts being made in this regard. The two leaders emphasized their keenness on ensuring Sudan’s security and stability and preserving its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.

    The meeting was attended by Makkah Deputy Emir Prince Saud bin Mishaal; Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman; Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan; Advisor to Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Prince Musab bin Mohammed; Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban; President of the General Intelligence Khalid Al-Humaidan; and Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Ali Hassan Jaafar.

    On the Sudanese side, those present included Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ambassador Mohieldin Salim Ahmed Ibrahim; Director General of the General Intelligence Service Lt. Gen. Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, Saudi Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Dafallah Al-Haj Ali, and a number of officials.
