HONOR 600 Series surfaces with bold new look ahead of April 23 pre-orders

Early visuals point to a slimmer, more refined Number Series device, with a striking golden finish, ultra-thin bezels and a stronger flagship-style design direction.

HONOR has unveiled the expected design direction of its upcoming HONOR 600 Series, offering an early look at what appears to be one of the brand’s boldest and most polished Number Series designs to date. Early visuals show the device in a striking golden finish, with orange and black variants also set to be available at launch.

The design, based on the images released so far, leans into a clean and modern aesthetic with a strong focus on seamless construction. HONOR is expected to use a unibody cold-carving process, shaping the device from a single piece to reduce visible lines and create a smoother, more unified appearance. The satin-like matte metal mid-frame further adds to the premium look while also promising a more secure grip in everyday use.

One of the most eye-catching elements is the display. The HONOR 600 Series is expected to feature a very large corner radius and an extremely slim black border measuring about 0.98mm. If confirmed, it could rank among the Android smartphones with the narrowest visible bezels. Combined with the slim frame, the display treatment suggests HONOR is pushing the Number Series further into flagship-inspired territory.

According to the details currently circulating, the device is expected to measure 156.0 x 74.7 x 7.8mm and weigh around 200g. That combination should help deliver a balanced in-hand feel without making the phone appear bulky. The rear panel is also said to use an Ultra-Durable Composite Fiber material, designed to retain the visual clarity of glass while being lighter, more flexible and warmer to the touch.

HONOR is expected to open pre-orders for the 600 Series on April 23, with open sales scheduled to begin on May 1.

Pricing has not yet been announced, with the company expected to reveal price details next week. This staggered rollout is likely to build anticipation around the launch while giving buyers a clearer picture of where the device will sit in the competitive mid-premium smartphone segment.

The upcoming device follows the momentum of the HONOR 400 Series, which gained attention for its camera performance and AI-led editing capabilities. One of the most talked-about additions was the image-to-video feature, which helped the 400 Series stand out in a crowded market. With the 600 Series on the way, expectations are building around further upgrades in camera performance, AI tools, battery life and chipset capability.

Taken together, the early design cues suggest the HONOR 600 Series is shaping up to be more than a routine refresh. A slimmer body, more premium material choices and a bolder visual identity all point to a device that aims to elevate the Number Series further. If the final product stays true to these early previews, the HONOR 600 Series could emerge as one of HONOR’s most compelling launches in this category.
