RIYADH — The General Authority of Foreign Trade (GAFT) has announced the launch of an anti-dumping investigation into Saudi Arabia’s imports of multi-layer coated cardboard with a grey back and a white or other-colored face, weighing 180–500 grams per square meter and originating in or exported from India and China.

The decision to launch the investigation was issued in accordance with the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade, dated November 23, 2022. The law aims to protect domestic industries from injury caused by dumped and subsidized imports, prevent import surges, and defend Saudi exports subject to trade remedy measures.
