RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce has recalled 3,680 Ford Bronco and Bronco Raptor vehicles over an electrical defect that could cause a fire and increase the risk of injury or an accident.

The recall covers Ford Bronco and Bronco Raptor vehicles from model years 2021 to 2026.

According to the ministry, the defect involves the protective covering of small electrical wires inside the engine compartment, which could cause the wires to become damaged and result in an electrical short circuit, potentially leading to a fire.

Owners of affected vehicles are advised to check whether their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is included in the recall through Recalls.sa.

The ministry urged affected owners to contact Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Company at 8007492222 or Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Company at 8001240218 to arrange the necessary repairs free of charge
