MANAMA — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov in Manama on Sunday. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the ninth Gulf Cooperation Council—Russia Joint Ministerial Meeting for Strategic Dialogue.
Prince Faisal and Lavrov reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. The ministers discussed regional developments, notably the escalation in Yemen, ongoing threats to navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab, and efforts to maintain regional security and stability.
